All types of music are covered. Members are invited to give a short presentation of the music they choose, but this is not a requirement if you wish not to.
The group meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 2.00pm at the Chasetown Methodist Church, Lawnswood Avenue, Chasetown. The meeting usually lasts until 4.00pm.
We have a break for refreshments around 3.00pm.
We play and discuss two pieces of music each, and the theme is chosen beforehand. In January we played our own choices of classical music, and in March it was Heavy Rock. There have been such a wide variety of different musical genres ranging from "blues" to "jazz" to "orchestral" to "ballads". There is something for everyone.
We can play music in any format except 78rpm.
Cost is £2.50-£3 depending on how many attend.
