On the walk - chatting away.

All smiles at Cuckoos Nook, The ground was covered in wild garlic.
It is amazing what you see on the walks
Full details in our u3a newsletter,
The joys of walking, especially around our local areas, are found in the changing of the seasons. The trees and hedges in full leaf in the summer months are so different from winter where you can see through the foliage and the views beyond, the vibrant colours of autumn are often the best times to appreciate the scenery.
Wildlife is also to be seen. Coming across a herd of young calves recently on the Chase was a pleasant surprise, the deer and free-roaming cows often make an appearance on our monthly Chasewater walks, and the ducks, geese, and swans in the pools around Lichfield are always a joy to see.
The walks are very accessible, parking is usually not a problem, and of course, we include a coffee stop during the walk.
If you haven't walked with us before, you will find us a friendly, welcoming group, so just get in touch with a leader or check out our walking diary for the coming months.

Participants on walks should follow the advice / instructions of the Walk Leader in order to minimise risk to themselves and should also ensure that they do not endanger any others in the party.
