One of our Group Angie King has been working on an interesting Project. Angie has completed a piece that involved twenty individual paintings of Birds in her garden. Each bird was based on a circle. What a stunning piece. Well done Angie!

Since Covid, a lot of things have changed. Many of us are still hesitant about going out. If you're one of them and you have a hobby/pastime that you do at home, alone, consider coming to our group. It doesn't matter what you're doing, come along. It may be crochet, sewing, knitting, colouring, a jigsaw puzzle (with a carrying board!), painting by numbers, toy making to name but a few. All we ask is that if it's something messy, you'll have to bring something substantial to cover your table and clean up afterwards.

In the Art and Pastimes Group we try to encourage Members to become involved in a new activity. One group activity is Watercolour painting. One of the members, a retired Art Teacher will lead the Members on a painting project.

Last year we had a “Watercolour Challenge” with each Member creating a painting to learn some watercolour techniques. The picture was of “Sunset at Bamburgh Castle”. All equipment was provided

A new activity is being planned for this year.
