Every month on the third Thursday there is a guest speaker who entertains the membership with a fascinating talk.

We have heard from the blood bikers, an aide to Patrick Lichfield, (the famous photographer) who lived at Shugborough Hall, Chocolate makers, poets, all about a tree cathedral and many, many other diverse subjects.

APRIL 16th Roger Browne – The Golden Age of Radio – a return performance from this totally brilliant pianist. Voted by many of you as the best speaker/performer we have ever had!!

MAY 21st Fran Sandham – A Solo Walk Across Africa – an account of his 3,500-mile walk. A former Rough Guides editor, been on national and regional radio.

JUNE 18th Paul Lillie – The Story of The Beatles – a unique presentation combining singing and painting [May be changed to ELVIS!!] Votes please!1

JULY 16th Nicholas Corder - Crime Ballads of old Staffordshire.

AUGUST 20th –Samantha Oxborough – opera singer.

SEPTEMBER 17th Members talks – 3 volunteers please.

OCTOBER 15th Anthony Harris – Walsall Councillor. - Pat Collins Fun Fairs

NOVEMBER 19th Neil Hanson - Inn and out at the top/Ghostwriter – highly amusing and entertaining.
