Train Driving Experience
Enjoying a Meal on a Barge Trip.
This group is for those who have an interest in what goes on, in and around the area in which they live. We will aim to visit places which are not readily accessible to individual members of the public. These could include factories, places of worship, local businesses, certain museums etc. Wherever possible, we will go “back-stage”.
Travel to the venues will be by car-share or public transport. Obviously, not every-one has access to a vehicle, or they may not wish to drive too far. If members who do have cars are willing to offer lifts, then petrol costs will be shared amongst the number of people in the vehicle – including the driver. In this way, it may be possible to accommodate all who wish to participate. However, it is not essential that car owners give lifts in order to engage in the activities.
