We are a fairly new group of more experienced players, having met at a beginner's class shortly after lockdown ended in 2021.
Several members are also in guitar groups and play baritone, while we also have a bassist and a cajon player who occasionally swaps his tenor for a banjo ukulele.
Musical tastes are mainly 50's through to 90's and our meetings are usually fortnightly on a Thursday afternoon, depending on room availability, at Chasetown Methodist Church in Lawnswood Road, where room size limits us to around 12 players. We start at 1.45 and play until 4.15.
